Destiny's Child is an all-female R&B vocal quartet from Houston comprising Beyonce, Kelly, LaTavia and LeToya. The group was formed in 1990 by Music World Management's Mathew Knowles, who recruited LaTavia, Beyonce, and two other girls -- then only seven and eight years old -- to be in an R&B group; Kelly joined in 1992, shortly before the then pre-pubescent quartet appeared on 'Star Search,' where they rapped instead of sang. In 1993 LeToya rounded out the current lineup, which scored a breakthrough hit in 1996 with the single 'No No No,' also found on their 1997 self-titled debut album....
